The CSUCI Bell Tower Logo was created by Alum Taylor Marta '07 and chosen as an optional design for use on apparel and promotional items. In 2022, the artwork was updated with larger words across the bottom and a simplified outline. Bell Tower logo files are available on the University network Public drive (Z) > Logos > Bell Tower Illustration folder > Bell Tower illustration update.
The words Channel Islands are boldly designed into the drawn image of the Bell Tower, the most recognizable landmark on campus.
Like the CSUCI Spirit Logo, the CSUCI Bell Tower Logo is reserved for more casual communication materials, signage, events, apparel and mementos associated with the University.
However, it should not be used in place of the Formal Logo on collateral materials and it is recommended to screen or offset print the artwork design, not embroidery.
Variations of the Bell Tower Logo will be provided in three color types:
- Black and White (BW) - Outlined Bell Tower and Channel Islands lettering.
- Pantone Matching System (PMS) 186 Red - Outlined Bell Tower and Channel Islands lettering.
- PMS Cool Grey 11 or PMS 877 Metallic Silver - Outlined Bell Tower and Channel Islands lettering.
