Planning a virtual event has a lot of similarities to planning a live event.  The University Events team is here to help you through that process by providing logistical and event management support for your Zoom meetings and webinars.

Zoom Meetings

Think of a Zoom meeting as an event which allows participants to engage with each other and break into smaller groups as needed. 

  • Ideal for more interactive sessions, with attendee participation and/or smaller group breakouts
  • Best for small to large groups of up to 300 when the ability to engage in discussion is needed

Zoom Webinars

Think of a Zoom webinar like a virtual keynote address, where participants listen to information presented and typically do not interact with each other.

  • Ideal for educational lectures, guest speakers, informational presentations
  • Best for large events with 50 - 3,000 attendees
