The charge of the Cal State Channel Islands All-University Accessibility Coordination Team is to aid the University in complying with CSU, state and federal recommendations and regulations relating to individuals with disabilities on the CI campus. The committee assists in the evaluation of current campus policies and procedures relating to students, faculty, and staff with disabilities, recommends priorities, recommends policies to be created, reviews barrier removal priorities as specified in State University Administrator’s manual (SUAM), the ADA Self Evaluation, Transition Plan and on-going assessment efforts and develops timelines for compliance. The committee also initiates efforts designed to improve conditions for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Members of the committee represent a wide range of students, faculty and staff interested in or responsible for disability-related issues on campus.
