Hello! My name is Lauren Hernandez and I am from Oxnard, CA. I am in my second year at CI majoring in Liberal Studies. I've been attending CI since Fall 2013 and so far it's been an amazing experience. I'm pretty new to the Intercultural Services team but I am excited to help and to be a part of putting together all the fun events that happen throughout the year. I think Intercultural Services is great because it is a place where students can express their thoughts and ideas freely and sometimes we even try to bring their ideas to life. I still have a lot to learn but thankfully I have the support from Multi-Access Programs.

Hello! My name is Yesenia García and I am from Santa Paula, California. I am a second year student majoring in Psychology with plans on declaring Spanish as a second major. I started CSU Channel Islands in Fall 2014, and there has not been a day in which I have regretted making the choice, it has all been an amazing experience. I started working with Intercultural Services this Fall 2015 and was an Orientation Leader for Summer 2015. Even though I am new to the program I am very excited to help putting together the different events we have to offer and make other students feel welcomed and accepted in the CI community.
