Konkuk University is one of South Korea’s leading comprehensive private universities and is recognized as one of the top 10 among the country’s 370 higher education systems. Internationalization of the campus is a primary goal at Konkuk. KU provides more than 500 courses taught in English every semester delivered by renowned professors, including approximately 70 international faculty members from all around the world.

The highly internationalized campus offers customized services from International Programs such as a student volunteer system, which helps foreign exchange students in settling down at KU. Students can meet over 200 international students from all around the world as well as have a chance to meet domestic students and experience local cultures.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 3.0 or above cumulative GPA**
  • The program is open to the following majors/minors: Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Economics, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science ***


*Although CI students do not need to have Korean language units to be eligible to apply, students who are accepted must take a Korean language course at Konkuk University during their study abroad semester.
