2-1-1 Ventura County

A program of Interface Children & Family Services, is a comprehensive information and referral service for Ventura County, connecting over 30,000 Ventura callers and texters each year with information about health and human services available to them.

California Coalition for Youth

The California Coalition for Youth (CCY) provides strong statewide policy leadership around issues concerning disconnected runaway and homeless youth.

California College Pathways

This organization is a statewide partnership that provides resources and leadership to campuses and community organizations to help foster youth succeed at community colleges and four-year universities. They engage institution to work together, sharing best practices, and advocating for polices that support foster youth in higher education.

California Homeless Youth Project

Casa Pacifica offers a spectrum of programs and services designed to treat foster and at-risk youth who have suffered from trauma, and/or exhibit complex emotional and behavioral issues, or whose family is in crisis.

Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Family services

This is a research and policy initiative that highlights the issues and challenges faced by unaccompanied youth people who are homeless or lack stable housing.

Coalition for Family Harmony

The mission is to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; to educate the community regarding violence against women, children, and men; to prevent the cycle of violence.

Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth

The Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth provides a forum for Members of Congress to discuss and develop policy recommendations to strengthen the child welfare system and improve the overall well-being of youth and families.

Covered Till 26

Children Now is spearheading Coveredtil26, a statewide outreach campaign to ensure all former foster youth living in California know they are eligible for free Medi-Cal coverage until age 26. Previously, former foster youth in California lost coverage when they turned 21. Now, thanks to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), young adults who were in foster care at age 18 or older are eligible for free health care until age 26.

Dark to Dawn

Dark to Dawn is a faith-based organization, based in Ventura County, and established in June, 2009. We partner with domestic and international adoption and orphan care agencies, as well as local foster care agencies.

Echoes of Hope

Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, the nonprofit has helped thousands of at-risk and emancipated foster youth succeed by providing the resources, love, and support they so richly deserve.

The Ventura County Behavioral Health Department (VCBH) provides a system of coordinated services to meet the mental health and substance abuse treatment needs of Ventura County.
