Sept. 1, 2021

Dear Students:

Congratulations on making it through the first week of the Fall semester! I know you have a lot on your plates, so I will make these very important reminders brief.

Please take care!
Stay home if you are sick or are not feeling well and contact your faculty so they are aware and can assist you with not missing class assignments.

Contact Tracing? Don’t worry, we’re on it!
Rest assured, the campus continues to follow our contact tracing protocols when confirmed cases or exposures have occurred.

Be sure to file a report immediately if you think you may have been exposed.

Need a COVID Test?
If you have been exposed or are symptomatic and need testing, please contact to discuss appropriate testing options.
For students who need to test regularly to remain permitted on campus, weekly testing appointments are available online.

We are on our way to 90%!
We are getting closer to our goal of a 90% vaccination rate and keeping our positive cases at a minimal level. Your individual and collective efforts are making a difference!

A big thank you to students who have certified their vaccine status with supporting documentation, completed weekly COVID-19 testing where required, reported known or suspected COVID-19 cases or exposures, and completed their Student COVID-19 Safety Training.

Have more Questions?
Please contact the Dean of Students office.

As we move through the fall semester, I wish you good health and continued best of luck.

Cindy Derrico, Ph.D.
Dean of Students
