Graduating student

Are you unable to attend the concert but still want to show your support? Have you already purchased your tickets and have a few extra dollars that you don’t know what to do with? Why not make a donation to help make a difference in the lives of CSU Channel Islands’ students? Please help by giving today! Your donation brings access to higher education to students who dream of wearing that cap and gown.

This event is our most prestigious and significant fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from the concert support the University’s highest priority needs. These funds allow us to provide student scholarships, plan for future academic programs and facilities such as an event center and athletics facilities to help better serve our students.

Did you Know?

Although CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI) is a state school, the state does not provide the necessary funding to grow our programs, facilities, and scholarships for students. Private support is critical to ensure we can provide the margin of excellence our students deserve and implement our collective vision for the success of our University.

Reliance on the traditional provision of resources to aid in student education and to support our region is a dying method. To achieve our mission as the youngest and fastest growing State University, we must embrace innovation and create new ways to operate, to educate, and to impact our communities.

Therefore this concert is essential to the success of CSUCI. The funds raised will provide access to higher education for those who would not have the opportunity otherwise, and in turn, will change the entire trajectory of their lives and their families’ lives. In 2002, 40 percent of CI students were the first in their families to attend a university and by 2013, this percentage increased to more than half (56%) with 76% of CSUCI’s student population qualifying for financial aid.

At CSUCI, we believe in the power of education. Our mission, culture, and philosophies are built to change lives, impact communities, and consequently, make a difference for our collective future.
