Peer-Led Team Learning Workshops

What is Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL)?
The PLTL program is designed for students who want to excel in their STEM class. A Peer Leader organizes and facilitates a weekly 2-hour workshop session on topics recently covered in class. Peer Leaders are trained to bring out the best in a group in terms of learning, developing self-sufficiency and effective study skills. As such, participants learn how to learn and take that skill to their other courses.

On Monday, August 31st, the PLTL Program will reopen for workshops and office hours, all of which will be delivered ONLINE via Zoom through the end of the semester. The STEM Center will be discontinuing all face-to-face tutoring to support social distancing efforts and precautionary measures for our campus community. Please check our most recent schedules for up-to-date PLTL availability.
