The Recreation and Athletics Fee Committee (RAFC) provides recommendations related to the Recreation and Athletics Fee and provides input to the Vice President for Student Affairs on critical issues relating to campus recreation. In addition, the RAFC will make proposals to the Student Fee Advisory Committee on adjustments to the Recreation and Athletics Fee.

The constituency of RAFC includes:

  • Four students (including the chair of the committee), recommended by the Student Government President and appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs
  • One faculty members, recommended by the Academic Senate and appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs
  • One administrator or staff member, appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs

The RAFC will meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Student Union Building, Room 2021, unless otherwise stated.

Meeting agendas are posted on the website at least five working business days prior to the meeting. Draft minutes are reviewed and approved during the next scheduled meeting, then posted on the website.
