The Solution Center is dedicated to serving the campus community by providing the first layer of support service for a myriad of campus-related interests. Whether over the phone or in person, the Solution Center team engages with both internal users such as students, faculty and staff, as well as external users including parents, prospective students and donors to provide an array of services to meet these varied needs.

Call Routing 

The Solution Center Operators assure effective routing of incoming calls using a variety of methods including cross referencing with internal directories and operator handbook resources as well as using the institutional knowledge gained during their tenure.

Commonly Asked Questions 

The Solution Center employees field a variety of calls including prospective students trying to schedule tours, questions about parking permits, registration and fee deadlines, campus holidays, and campus directions. If there is a question they are unable to answer operators can direct questions to the subject matter experts or department that is best suited to assist.

Commencement Logistics

The Solution Center is the primary contact point for aggregating important information for prospective graduates, date/time of ceremonies, Grad Fest, registration, parking, where to purchase cap & gown, as well as other important information related to the Commencement ceremonies.

Instructions and General How-To’s

Solution Center staff provide directions to and around campus and supply step-by-step instructions on a wide range of processes including how to register for classes, how to make payments, how to order transcripts, and where to locate your Dolphin ID

First Touch Problem Resolution

Solution Center employees provide problem resolution for a range of common technology issues, solving a selection of frequent user queries and providing initial troubleshooting and information-gathering for more advanced problems. Whether it is providing assistance with connecting to the wireless network, being locked out of an account, resetting passwords, using campus printers or installing class-required software, the Solution Center is here to help! If there is a problem that cannot be resolved, a work order is created and will be further investigated by one of the desktop technicians from the User Services team.
