Canvas 101 - Online Course

Course may be previewed now, and will be available for use by all CI faculty and staff on July 1, 2017.
This self-paced course is designed to get you familiar with Canvas and provide you with some key take aways that will get you up and running with your class. The course has been broken up into 7 modules, each of which contains resources to help you understand the given topic, along with how-to instructions. Upon completing this course, you will receive a Canvas Essentials digital badge.

The in-person workshops will take place every week starting July 1, 2017. These workshops will be facilitated by members of the Teaching & Learning Innovations team. They will be hands on, so bring your course materials and questions.

Canvas: A Faculty Perspective with Alison Perchuk

In these workshops Alison Perchuk, Assistant Professor of Art, will provide participants with a faculty perspective on using Canvas. Alison is teaching both traditional face-2-face courses and online courses in Canvas. During these workshops, she will show you her favorite things about Canvas and provide you a look inside her courses.

Learn something new in Canvas in just 20 minutes a day over 5 days. These workouts are designed to give you quick ideas for making the best use of Canvas. The 5 Day workouts are fully online and are facilitated by a member of the Teaching & Learning Innovations team.
