K-8th Grade Tours and Programming

2020 -2021 Academic Year

CSU Channel Islands will remain virtual for the 2020-2021 academic year, therefore in-person k-8th grade programming for University Outreach (LEAP) has been suspended for the fall 2020.  We take the health and safety of our students, staff, visitors, and community seriously and urge everyone to continue to follow the guidelines set forth by public health officials. We appreciate your understanding.

Virtual programming for the spring 2021 is currently being developed. University Outreach will be accepting reservations for our spring semester soon. Please stay tuned!

Purpose

University Outreach at California State University Channel Islands looks to motivate and inform K-8th grade students the benefits of higher education and goal-setting for a brighter future.  Primarily serving K-8th grade students of under-represented and low-income communities through distinct college readiness programs, University Outreach seeks to create a university-going culture through free-of-charge campus visits, school site visits and community events.

Important Note:

A separate program for high school and community college students is offered through our Admissions & Recruitment office. Please visit the Admissions & Recruitment Campus Tours web page for more information.
