K-8th Grade Tours and Programming

Fall 2021

CSU Channel Islands anticipates a return to in-person instruction for the Fall 2021 semester, however out of abundance of caution in-person k-8th grade programming for University Outreach (LEAP) will continue to be suspended.  We take the health and safety of our students, staff, visitors, and community seriously and urge everyone to continue to follow the guidelines set forth by public health officials. We appreciate your understanding.

In lieu of in-person visits and tours, University Outreach developed virtual programming. Please visit our Virtual Programming tab for more information and how to make a reservation for your school. Check back at a later date for updates on our Spring 2022 semester.

Purpose

University Outreach at CSU Channel Islands looks to motivate and inform K-8th grade students the benefits of higher education and goal-setting for a brighter future. Serving K-8th grade students of the Ventura County region, primarily from historically minoritized, low income communities with first-gen potential,University Outreach seeks to create a university-going culture through distinct college readiness programs.

Important Note:

A separate program for high school and community college students is offered through our Admissions & Recruitment office. Please visit the Admissions & Recruitment Campus Tours web page for more information.
