Ysabel Trinidad

Ysabel joined CI in December 2011, as the Vice President for Business & Financial Affairs. She previously served as the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services at University of Washington Tacoma.  Prior to that, she spent 12 years at University of Texas at San Antonio. Ysabel holds a B.S., Magna Cum Laude, in Business Administration from CSU Fresno and an M.B.A. from St. Mary's University, San Antonio.

Elaine Crandall

Elaine Crandall is the Associate Vice President for Administration in the Division of Finance and Administration. She brings over 30 years of management experience from the private sector in aerospace manufacturing, infrared technology research and development, private non-profit, and local government.  Elaine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Pepperdine University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University.  She is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Kent State University.

John Gormley

John joined CI in April 2007, and currently is the Assistant Vice President for Facilities Services.  As our campus architect, he also oversees building design and construction, including the University Glen development, along with maintaining the sustainability of CI.  He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from USC and training from the California Emergency Management Agency.

Diane Mandrafina

Diane joined CI in May 2016, as the Assistant Vice President for Business and Financial Affairs/Controller.  She previously served as Director, Fiscal Services at Pasadena Area Community College District.  Diane holds a B.S. in Accounting from Mercy College and an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Long Island University.

Michael Morris

Michael joined CI in December 2006 as a Lieutenant, and was appointed Chief of Police in February 2018.  A law enforcement officer since 1992, Michael’s previous service was with CSU Bakersfield and the City of Lemoore.  As the police chief, Michael oversees the University Police Department, Transportation & Parking, and Environmental Health & Safety work groups.  He holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSU Bakersfield, and is a graduate of the California Law Enforcement Command College.

Peter Mosinskis

Peter Mosinskis joined CSUCI in 2003, and now serves as the interim Assistant Vice President for Information Technology Services in the Division of Finance and Administration. He has over 18 years experience in leading IT-related programs and projects at both public and private universities, and previously served as Director of IT Strategy at CSUCI. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Loyola Marymount University and is a Master’s degree candidate in Information Technology from California State University Fullerton.  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.

Sonja Howe

Sonja Howe is the University Internal Auditor.  She joined CI in August 2016.  She previously served as an internal auditor at the California State Auditor’s Office. She has also served for the cities of Los Angeles, San Diego, and was the chief audit executive for Denver Human Services. Sonja holds a Bachelors in Film from Penn State University and a Masters in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.  Sonja is a Certified Internal Controls Auditor.
