Volunteers Needed for Science Carnival

Volunteers for set-up, logistics and science activities are needed to help at the 7th Annual Science Carnival where K-8 students and their families are invited to attend on Saturday, Oct. 24, 5 - -- 8 p.m. at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Oxnard.

The Science Carnival is a spooky science and Halloween-themed event designed to give kids a hands-on experience with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Over 75 science activities, demonstrations, and experiments are planned for kids who attend the Carnival.

The event and parking are free. Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes. Volunteers from the CI community are welcomed. If you are interested in volunteering, visit http://www.csuci.edu/sciencecarnival/volunteer.
