Green Belt Graduates
Congratulations to CI staff members Susan Davis, Wendy Olson, Linda Covarrubias (not pictured) and Janet Korsmo. These individuals received their Green Belt Certificates of Completion for Lean Six Sigma at the Ventura County Hall of Administration on Nov. 16, completing the rigorous four day training alongside our Ventura County partners during September and October.
Lean is a philosophy of continuous improvement that focuses on increasing customer value, the elimination of waste and optimizing operations. The key components of Lean can be applied to all types of businesses processes. Six Sigma is a philosophy of continuous improvement that focuses on quality. It endeavors to reduce the number of re-works or errors per opportunity. Our Green Belts now have the tools to facilitate continuous improvement projects and events.
