Business & Technology Partnership Meeting – Jan. 22

CI’s Business & Technology Partnership group will host a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 6:15-7:15 p.m. in the Petit Salon on campus. The purpose of this meeting is to engage and inform the local industry and business community of the curriculum offered at CI and to solicit advice as to how our students can prepare better for the work force. Informational Meetings: Sally Casanova Scholars Pre-Doctoral Program and the CSU Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program – Jan 28 & 29

Informational meetings for the Sally Casanova Scholars Pre-Doctoral Program and the CSU Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 6-7 p.m. in El Dorado Hall room 140 and on Thursday, Jan. 29, 12-2 p.m. in Madera Hall room 2381.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service – Jan. 30

MLK Day of ServiceThe Center for Community Engagement, Intercultural Services and Project ISLAS invite CI students, staff and faculty to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by participating in a Day of Service on Friday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s Day of Service will be held at Prototypes, an organization dedicated to women struggling with addiction and other serious issues. Volunteers will participate in arts and crafts with children, gardening and painting. Please RSVP for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service if you plan to attend. Poetry Slam – Feb. 23

Show us what you got! Intercultural Services is looking for spoken word pieces following themes of equality, solidarity and humanity celebrating the Women's Recognition and African American Heritage. Those who want to participate will have a chance to present their material on Monday, Feb. 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Student Union Courtyard.
