Rich Block has served as the CEO/Directoe of the Santa Barbara Zoo since 1998. Prior to his appointment, Block served as Vice President for Science & Program Development for Indianapolis Zoo and Director of Public Programs/Senior Fellow for World Wildlife Fund. Mr. Block currently sits on the California Association of Zoos & Aquariums (CAZA) Board as Vice President.
