CSUCI offeres study in Taiwan through the CSU International Programs, a state-wide program exclusively for the CSU System.
Host Institutions
- National Taiwan University: Most CSU students will attend NTU.
- National Tsing Hua University: Only superior students in the sciences who have near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese may apply to National Tsing Hua University.

Requirements
- 3.0 GPA
- Students applying to the Study in English program must complete at least one term of Mandarin language or culture before spring term prior to departure and be willing to study Mandarin throughout the year. (Students wishing to focus on Mandarin Chinese throughout the year must complete at least one year of college-level Mandarin by the end of the spring term prior to departure.)
- One course in Chinese civilization, history, society, politics, literature, or philosophy
- Completion of all lower division requirements
- Completion of 60 or more units of courses
