CSU Channel Islands offers more than $200,000 in scholarships each year to outstanding undergraduate and credential students based on financial need, academic merit, or both. Scholarships are private funds that do not have to be repaid.
Scholarships can come from a variety of sources - community groups, corporate donors, or the University. Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of criteria which often reflects the values of the donor or the purpose for which the award was founded.
Students who receive scholarships from their high schools, community groups or other outside organizations should have their funds sent directly to:
Student Business Services Office
CSU Channel Islands
One University Drive
Camarillo, CA 93012
CSU Channel Islands will disburse outside scholarship funds directly to the student based on the donor's instructions. All outstanding University charges must be settled before the funds can be released.
You are required to notify the Financial Aid & Scholarships office of any scholarships you are receiving, including awards issued by academic departments, as well as those awards paid directly to you. We must include any additional resources received with your other financial aid awards. If necessary, we may adjust other awards.
