About Legacy Giving
Legacy gifts provide the foundation for growth and academic excellence at CSU Channel Islands. These gifts have the ability to be transformational, making a significant impact on our students, faculty, and the University’s key role in higher education within the region.
Legacy gifts begin at the $25,000 level and often times come with benefits not only for the University, but also for the donor, such as tax and other financial incentives. Legacy gifts are made using many different vehicles. Bequests made in a will, charitable remainder annuities and other estate plan gifts can be made. However, legacy gifts can simply be outright gifts to the University - given all at one time or pledged over a maximum of five years. How the gift is structured is entirely up to you and what works best with your financial, investment, and charitable goals.
We encourage you to speak with a financial professional for more information about how you can leave a legacy at CSU Channel Islands and we also invite you to contact Nichole Ipach, Assistant Vice President for University Development at 805-437-8893 or nichole.ipach@csuci.edu for more information.
