Nov. 27, 2023 - Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce that the Lumina Foundation, via subaward from the Trustees of the California State University, has awarded $30,000 to CSUCI's Institutional Research (IR) team, led by Matt Zivot, for their project: "Building Transformational Cultures of Data Use for Student Success.”
This project was developed by IR Data Scientist Kristin Jordan and TLi's Director of Digital Learning, Lorna Gonzalez. The two worked together to create a learning community, faculty-led mini-workshops, and expand resources for the data and pedagogy project.
In addition, this work puts class-level equity data in the hands of faculty members and provides them with pedagogical support to address student success and equity issues in their classrooms.
