Teaching and Learning with Technology Initiative

The Teaching and Learning with Technology Initiative is a partnership between Academic Affairs and Information Technology Services. Our goal is to increase the effective use of technologies to improve student learning.

To meet this goal, we will be examining the issues around distance, online and blended learning to provide faculty with the latest information on how to design effective learning environments. Once designed we will be highlighting examples of classes where faculty use technology to improve student learning. TLT will also be part of University-wide discussions regarding the structures, policies and technologies needed to support distance, online and/or blended learning.

We will also be working to support faculty interested in using a blended learning framework in their courses, in which a portion of the face-to-face (f2f) class time is replaced with online coursework. Please see Blended Learning Preparation Program (BLPP) for more details.
