Environmental Career Development Day – Nov. 15

The ESRM and Communication programs will be sponsoring the Third Annual Environmental Career Development Day on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John Spoor Broome Library Exhibition Hall 1320.  The purpose of the event is to provide students with an opportunity to meet with various environmental professionals to learn about their organizations, the skills needed for jobs in the field, and to develop their professional network.  Participating vendors and experts include governmental agencies, private consultants and non-governmental organizations.

The event is not a “job fair,” but an opportunity for students to identify their goals and to assess their strengths with respect to their academic preparation and to learn about the skills that may be helpful for a particular career path.
