Admissions & Student Onboarding Steps:

Coming soon—you’ll be able to confirm your spot at CSUCI for Fall! Once enrollment opens, you can secure your place.

Once you’ve confirmed your enrollment, it’s time for your next adventure! You’ll work through a series of simple steps designed to help you get ready for classes, settle in, and start connecting with your Dolphin community. Your New Student Onboarding Checklist will be your guide every step of the way.

Please note: your admission remains provisional until all admission requirements are completed by the designated deadlines. To stay on track, be sure to check your email regularly—this is our primary way of communicating with you.

Other important information you should consider:

  • Request Your Transcripts Early!
Make sure your Course Registration & Academic Advising session goes smoothly by submitting your official college transcripts and any AP or IB test scores 2–3 weeks before your scheduled date.

Submitting your transcripts on time is essential—it ensures your transfer credit is posted, helps you meet course prerequisites, and confirms your student level (for example, junior status).

    How to Submit Transcripts

    Official Mailed Transcripts

    • Must be sent in a sealed envelope directly to:
      Cal State Channel Islands
      ATTN: Admissions – Gateway Hall
      One University Drive
      Camarillo, CA 93012

    • You may also hand-deliver transcripts if they remain sealed in the original envelope from your registrar. Please check Admissions office hours before visiting campus.

    Official Electronic Transcripts

    • Must be sent directly from your college/institution.

    • If asked for a recipient name/email, use:
      Cal State Channel Islands
      admissions@csuci.edu

    • Please note: We cannot accept transcripts emailed directly from students or faxed copies.

    Advanced Placement (AP) Scores
If you took AP exams, request your official scores from the College Board at least 6–8 weeks in advance (unless you’ve already sent them).

    International Coursework
If you completed coursework outside the United States, your transcript must be evaluated by a credentials evaluation service, such as International Education Research Foundation (IERF) at www.ierf.org. Request your detailed evaluation report (with course level identification) 6–8 weeks in advance of the transcript deadline.
