Peer Advisors

Peer Advisors meet one-on-one with students to assist in interpreting general education (GE) and major requirements, navigating the CI academic requirements report (CARR), utilizing the university catalog, and academic advising website. Peer Advisors also assist in identifying campus resources that enhance the CSUCI academic experience and help students succeed.

Testimonial

Working as a peer advisor in academic advising has been such a wonderful experience. It has helped me grow in many aspects and it has also helped me learn more about our school’s resources. My experience here has also given me a great feeling to be able to help out peers to the best of my knowledge that I have gained as a peer advisor and having them feel less worried about their academic journey. -Peer Advisor
