Faculty Advisors are available to:

  • Assist with major course substitutions
  • Assist with major course selections and degree planning
  • Explain major requirements for graduation
  • Assist students in exploring career and graduate school opportunities
  • Complete preliminary major graduation evaluation
  • Provide assistance with internship opportunities
  • Sign additional unit authorizations over 18 units (if designated by faculty chair)

Faculty and Staff

Request for Service

Through this service any faculty or staff member can request Advising workshops or trainings for their program or on an individual basis.  Topics can include training for faculty advisors, how to review the CARR, and how to assist students experiencing academic difficulty.   Request Service

Refer a Student to Advising

Through this service you can refer students who you feel are in need of our advising services and we will reach out to them.  This can include students who need to review GEs, are in academic difficulty, or would somehow benefit from meeting with us.  Refer a Student
