AXICOM, Inc.,is a computer and network consulting business based in Westlake Village. Christa Nonnemaker oversees Business Development, Marketing, HR/payroll and other administrative management issues at AXICOM. AXICOM provides remote and on-site support as well as managed services and cloud computing solutions to small businesses, schools, and non-profits throughout Southern California.
Ms. Nonnemaker has been active in the Conejo Valley community while working at AXICOM. She has served as President of NAWBO-VC (National Association of Women Business Owners-Ventura County) and also held other board positions in that organization. She is a member of the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce and a past Board Member of the Chamber. She also actively supports and participates in the events and activities of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County and the Professional Women's Network of Southern California.
Prior to joining AXICOM in 2000, Ms. Nonnemaker taught at secondary schools and community colleges, including Moorpark College and College of the Canyons. Ms. Nonnemaker received a B.A. from UCLA and an M.A. from Stanford University.
