Ojai Oil Company

Doug has spent most of his business career in management of Ojai Oil Company, a family company specializing in commercial property management, self-storage ownership, communication towers, and crude oil production. He is also on the board of Crestview Mutual Water Company, a small company providing water to a portion of the Camarillo, California community.

Mr. Off attended Stanford University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1962.  He then served four years in the Navy as a line officer, serving oversees during the Vietnam War as well as teaching science at a Navy school in Illinois.  His military service continued to 1980 in the inactive reserves with some duty at Ventura County Naval Base.   Following his active service in 1966, he attended UCLA in economics, and commenced working for Ojai Oil Company in 1968 as a property manager. He has been president of the Company since 2002.

Doug was married in 1971, where he and his wife Diane live in Camarillo. His son, Ryan, works with him in the family company, also in Camarillo.  His daughter teaches at Montana University in Missoula, where Doug enjoys his hobby of fly fishing on famous rivers.
