CDS can provide your students with a presentation for your training or class. Presentations can be utilized as part of class curriculum or as an opportunity for students to learn about student services while you are away for a conference, unexpected illness or any other reason you will not be available for a class session. Before you complete the classroom presentation request form, please take a moment to review our guidelines.

Request Guidelines

  1. Complete a presentation request with a minimum of two to three weeks advance notice to arrange for a presenter (most ideal).
  2. All requests require at least 30 minutes to adequately provide information on a topic (except 15 min CDS/HLI overview)
  3. Requests are limited to two presentations from each organization/course section.
  4. Some topics cannot be condensed to 30 minutes (see below), however several topics can be expanded to 1 hour long (see below).
  5. The requestor must provide the room, and all AV equipment (projector and computer) to conduct the presentation. We will not be able to bring our own laptop, TV or projector.
  6. You can request up to (2) 30-minute topics in one presentation.

  • Professional Etiquette (30 min or 1 hour)
  • Job & Internship Search (requires a minimum of 1 hour)
  • LinkedIn (requires a minimum of 1 hour)
  • Graduate School Application (requires a minimum of 1 hour)
  • Know Your Personality Type-MBTI Interpretation (requires a minimum of 90 minutes) *Must complete an MBTI assessment at Bell Tower 1548 prior to the presentation.
