CSUCI is committed to ensuring that Commencement celebrations are accessible to everyone. Graduate candidates or guests who require an ADA parking stall can request one through registration.

Parking: Each graduate will be issued two (2) CSUCI Commencement-specific parking permits for their assigned ceremony. One CSUCI Commencement-specific parking permit may be exchanged for a CSUCI Commencement-specific ADA parking permit for guests who cannot walk for extended periods of time. Please note that vehicles with a government issued ADA placard/plate still need a CSUCI Commencement-specific parking permit. This permit allows access for one vehicle to park in a parking lot nearest to the ceremony venue as directed by event staff on site. Please visit www.csuci.edu/commencement/ for information on ADA seating for the ceremony.

Accommodations: The ceremony screens will include closed captioning and as well as a picture in picture ASL interpreter. Graduate candidates who have disability related needs should contact Disability Accommodations & Support Services by emailing accommodations@csuci.edu or calling (805) 437-3331.

Requests should be made with as much notice as possible but no later than two weeks before the ceremonies. Requests received after this date cannot guarantee that accommodations can be made.
