The GSC provides presentations and workshops for prospective and current post-bac students related to graduate studies. If you would like one of our staff members to facilitate a classroom presentation, please complete a presentation request at least 2 weeks before your presentation date.

Presentation Topics

  • Graduate Studies Center Pitch (15 minutes) - Facilitator will make a short presentation introducing the center and will leave information for your students.
  • Graduate Studies Center Support Services for School of Education Master Students (20 minutes) - Facilitator will provide a presentation introducing the center along with discussing how our staff supports current Master in Education, Educational Leadership, and Administrative Services Credential students.
  • Graduate Studies Center Services Overview (45 minutes) - Facilitator will provide a presentation introducing the center and services provided to undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni. The benefits of attending graduate school will also be discussed.
  • Graduate Studies Center Tour (20 minutes) - Your group will be welcomed by our friendly front desk staff who will introduce you to our Program Director, Postbac Counselor, CODEL Coordinator, Writing Consultants, and building partners. You will have the opportunity to explore our center, learn about our services, and receive handouts and giveaways!

    You are more than welcome to hold your class session in El Dorado Hall on the day of tour, contingent upon space availability. If you are interested in holding your class session in El Dorado Hall on tour date, please contact our center

  • Other Workshops (30 minutes - 1 hour): Faculty, feel free to request a workshop that isn't listed. We'll work with you to customize a workshop that fits the needs for your class.
