Spring 2019 to Summer 2019 Transition (Extended Stay)

CSU Channel Islands is not in session after 7 p.m. on Friday, May 17. Residents approved for Extended Stay may reside in Housing past May 17. There is a nightly cost for Extended Stay and late fees are $25. Applicable charges will be posted to your myCI student account and due within 30 days, to avoid a late fee. Residents approved to extend their stay should review the Vacating 101 Guide (generally emailed in April each year) for more information.

Please Note:

  • If you intend to sign a license agreement for the summer term, an extended stay request must be completed in addition to the summer housing application. Submission of one request in absence of the other will not be approved.

Summer Housing 2019

Summer Housing is available between May 24 and August 9

The Summer Housing Application will be available by the end of spring semester through the Student Housing Application Portal (via myCI). Log in to the portal --> select application --> select summer 2019 term --> proceed with all application steps --> email confirming application will be sent to your myCI email.

Please review the Summer 2019 License Agreement (when it becomes available in mid to late spring semester) for further information regarding fees, deadlines, payment plans, terms, and conditions.

Summer residents receive room only; no summer board (meal plans) are required or provided.

Summer residents should anticipate a double occupancy room in the Town Center apartments

No cancellation fee will be charged to students who submit cancellation request by May 24.

Please contact Transportation & Parking Services for more information about summer parking permits.

Summer 2019 to Fall 2019 Transition (Early Move-In)
