Summer Housing 2018 

Extended Stay

CSU Channel Islands is not in session after 7 p.m. on Friday, May 18. The following residents are approved to reside in Housing past that date, providing they submit a Summer Extended Stay Request Form by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9: 

  • Graduates officially participating in the commencement ceremony (no nightly charge if submitted on time) - must check-out by noon on Sunday, May 21
  • Student assistant officially working commencement - must check-out by noon on Sunday, May 21
  • Students with PEEP - must check-out by 5 p.m. on May 25, or as instructed 
  • Students who have a Summer License - move into summer room as instructed 
  • Orientation Leaders - move to summer room as instructed 
  • Resident Advisors (no nightly charge if submitted on time) - move out as instructed

The nightly cost for Extended Stay is $30.50 per night. Late fees are $25. Applicable charges will be posted to your myCI student account and due within 30 days, to avoid a late fee. 

Summer Housing

Residents who wish to reside in Housing past Summer Extended Stay would fill out a Summer Housing License Agreement. Extended stay residents would move to their summer rooms as instructed during the week after commencement. 

More information regarding summer housing dates, the application, rates, occupancy and roommate requests, and parking will be available towards the end of the spring 2018 semester.
