- Housing Application Opens for Returning Students!
- AY 24-25 Priority application deadline for Returning Residents to submit specific accommodation request due to medical related needs through Disability Accommodations & Support Services (DASS).
- Priority application deadline to complete housing application to be in lottery for premium space assignment.
- Last day to finalize Roommate groups in the Housing Application for all priority applications.
- Last date for returning residents to modify profile question responses.
- Last day to modify meal plan preferences via the housing application.
- Last day to cancel housing license without cancellation penalty.
- Deadline for Returning CI students to be enrolled in 9 or more units.
- Financial aid verification documents due to the Financial Aid & Scholarships office. Students who submit documents after this date may not have their financial aid funded to their student account on time to meet the August 16 payment due date. NOTE: Document submissions must be accurate, complete, and legible in order to satisfy the filing deadline. Students are advised to submit documents as early as possible so that if there are errors or documents are illegible there will be time to resubmit before the deadline. - Between June 18 – July 5, 2024, Housing Cancellation requests are approved for any reasons and incur a $100 penalty
- Between July 6 – July 23, 2024, Housing Cancellation requests are approved for any reasons and incur a $200 penalty
- After July 23, 2024, all Housing Cancellation Requests are reviewed and may be approved or denied. Please note that daily rental penalties AND the $200 cancellation penalty are required for late cancellations.
- Roommate assignments posted to housing application for students who met priority application deadline of May 3.
- Financial Aid disbursement. Balances due after financial aid disbursement are due by August 20. Students whose financial aid does not fund on this day should expect to pay outstanding balance due with personal resources until financial aid is settled and funded.
- Total financial balance OR first payment of payment plan is due for fall 2024
- Fall 2024 first year freshmen move-in day is August 21!
- Fall 2024 transfer, international, and returning student move-in day is August 23!
- Residents can revert back to a smaller meal plan for fall 2024 (if meal plan exceeds minimum requirement)
- Second (of three) Housing fall 2024 semester payments due (if using Housing Installment Payment Plan)
- Third (and final) Housing fall 2024 semester payments due (if using Housing Installment Payment Plan)
- Priority application deadline for spring 2025 residential student applicants to submit specific accommodation request due to medical related needs through Disability Accommodations & Support Services (DASS).
- Submit winter break extended stay requests via the Student Housing Portal
- Submit dining plan exemption (for dietary or religious reasons) for spring 2025
- Residents leave for winter break no later than 7 p.m. on Friday, December 20 (unless approved for alternative stay)
- Residents may return from winter break after 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 2
- All students must be enrolled in 9+ units no later than January 2 to retain room assignment for spring 2025 semester. If unable to meet this requirement, please submit an Enrollment Plan Form for your prospective semester located on your Housing portal.
- Total financial balance OR first payment of payment plan is due for spring 2025
- Residents can revert back to a smaller meal plan for spring 2025 until January 31 (if meal plan exceeds minimum requirement)
- Winter break extended stay fees are due to Student Business Services (SBS)
- If using payment plan (HIPP), second payment for spring 2025 is due by

- Any unused meal credits and flex dollars expire on May 16, 2025

- Last date for New Transfers/CI students new to student housing to update mutual roommate requests and room preferences.
- Last date for New Freshmen students to update mutual roommate requests and room preferences.
- Last date for all applicants to update meal plan preferences. (Meal plan subject to change according to village assignment)
- Last day to cancel housing license without cancellation penalty.

- Last day to cancel housing license for any reason with a $200 cancellation penalty. After July 23, the University may approve or deny any request, and approved requests will incur the $200 cancellation penalty, plus daily rental fees for every day after July 23 that the request is submitted.
