In March 2016, Information Technology Services launched an updated process for requesting, planning and implementing major IT projects and procurements.
What qualifies as a major IT project or procurement?
The criteria for whether an IT project or procurement is major (or minor) depends on cost, implementation effort, and IT impact. For a detailed definition, please see the ITS Business Practice for IT Project & Procurement Governance.
How do I submit a major IT project or procurement request?
Please contact the Division Project Coordinator for your division for details.
There are 2 planning cycles (one beginning in December and one beginning in June) during which times major IT projects or procurements may be submitted to the DPCs for evaluation and review.
