Make a Zine with the WMC and BCC

Join the Writing and Multiliteracy Center at the Black Cultural Center to make your own Zine! Get inspired by real Zines made by community members and learn how to fold and make your own RPG, informational, or comic Zine.

Don’t know where to start? Zines are small DIY book-like, self-published works that allow under-represented and marginalized voices to share art, art, ideas, and stories outside of mainstream media. Zine culture has historically been anti-capitalist, queer, and unconventional. They are often traded, free or low-cost, and an accessible way to distribute information, and you can try your hand at making your own.
