New Student Orientation would like to thank you for your continued commitment and support towards your dolphins’ educational success. As we take on a virtual approach this summer, NSO has developed a new component to complement Island View Orientation, Navigate CSUCI. Navigate CSUCI will provide students and supporters an array of sessions to help them learn more about programs, services and involvement opportunities as they transition to CSUCI. These offerings are optional and will take place in the months of July and August. Sessions will be an hour in length, with a 45-minute presentation and 15 minute Q & A. There are a series of sessions spread over 5 weeks. Below you can find the sessions available for the month of July and the beginning of August, sessions for weeks 1-3. Navigate CSUCI: Parking and Transportation at CSUCI - Student Session 

Whether you live on-campus or are a commuter student, get the guidance you need in order to bring your vehicle to campus with ease. You will also learn about the alternative transportation programs we offer to help you get to CSUCI if you do not have access to a vehicle or simply do not want to bring it to campus.

Navigate CSUCI: We've Got You Covered! Library, Writing, and Tutoring

Broome Library will introduce students to the array of resources and equipment they can access from the Library’s website, and show how online access to librarians can help students navigate their first weeks at CI, and beyond. The Writing & Multiliteracy Center (WMC) will be providing an introduction to its online services and programs.  The LRC Presentation will provide incoming students with an overview of the academic support services available through the LRC's Zoom Tutoring platform.
