The POEC Cohort of 2024-2025 consists of 3 teams of 16 staff, faculty, and administrator team members with representation from every division on campus. In total, their work consisted of over one thousand hours of work analyzing their organizational case, developing reports, and preparing presentations over the course of the academic year. Campus-Wide Onboarding
Onboarding of new employees is an institutional process that affects staff, faculty, administrators, and student employees. Creating a first impression of their new role, the process can enhance the sense of belonging and foster a positive work environment or negatively affect retention of qualified employees. This team is reviewing our current processes for onboarding staff across the campus and evaluating what can be streamlined and delegated to specific departments for a consistent experience.
Committee Productivity Evaluation
Significant time is spent by administrators, staff, and faculty in long-standing committee meetings with uncertain results, straining resources and schedules. This team is reassessing the relevance, effectiveness, and memberhsip of these committees to ensure they align with current priorities and produce meaningful outcomes.
