BFA AD 70-1: Agreement Approval Process(PDF, 355KB)

Pursuant to Administrative Detail 70-1, all internship placement agreements, contracts and Memoranda of Understanding must be submitted to the office of the Vice President of Business and Financial Affairs no less than two weeks prior to the date the agreement or agreement takes effect or the fully executed document is due. Originators of these documents must plan accordingly when initiating new projects or when proposing new placement agreements or contracts with non-University entities.

Faculty should contact Procurement and Contract Services staff for assistance when considering a long term internship placement agreement with a specific internship site.

Contact Risk Management or Procurement and Contract Services staff for assistance with contracting or drafting Memoranda of Understanding, or for questions regarding use of the Agreement Routing Form.

Templates for Internship Placement Agreements

Student's Self-selected Internship Site Placement Agreement (for Academic Credit) (PDF, 276KB) - For use by students who have identified and secured their own internships, for which they have requested academic credit.  Students manage the routing of this agreement by obtaining the signatures of both the internship site official and the University's Procurement and Contract Services staff member.  Placement at the internship site may not begin until the agreement is fully executed.
