Special Event Insurance provides short term liability coverage for special events being held at the California State University Channel Islands campus.

The Special Event Liability Program is designed address the risk management and mandated insurance requirements of groups or individuals contracting with the University for the short term rental or use of University facilities, such as quad areas, class and meeting rooms, park space and playing fields. Risk Management offers the opportunity for University facility users to secure first-dollar (no deductible) coverage on an as-needed basis for special events.

To obtain a quote for Special Event Insurance, please complete an Application for Special Event Insurance  (AdobeSign), at least 10 days prior to your event, and Risk Management will get back to you.
