Join Outdoor Adventures for an immersive weekend camping experience at beautiful Malibu Creek State Park. This introductory camping trip is designed for students who want to learn the fundamentals of outdoor recreation while enjoying one of Southern California's most scenic state parks.
Throughout the weekend, participants will learn practical outdoor skills that can be applied to future adventures, including:
- Campsite selection and setup
- Tent pitching and breakdown
- Camp cooking fundamentals
- Outdoor safety and first aid basics
- Leave No Trace principles
- Camping gear organization
- Outdoor trip planning
Whether this is your first time sleeping in a tent or you're looking to build confidence for future outdoor adventures, this trip provides a supportive and fun environment to learn alongside fellow CSUCI students.
