Jo Ann Samonte, F.N.P.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Jo Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Philippine Women’s University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Training at UCLA. Jo Ann has practiced in the Ventura County Medical System for the last 25+ years. In addition to working at CI Student Health Services, she works at Las Islas Family Medical Group in Oxnard.

Rosalind Ng, F.N.P.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Rosalind received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University Los Angeles. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Training at UCLA in 2004. Rosalind maintains a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her passion lies in assisting students with their health care goals.

Yazmin Acosta, CMA
Certified Medical Assistant
Yazmin received her Medical Assistant certification in 2007 at Medical Career Services Institute in Oxnard. She has been working in the Ventura County medical system since 2008 and joined the CI Student Health Services staff in Fall 2009. Yazmin enjoys working in the medical field and finds that helping patients with their health needs is very rewarding.

Gisel Angeles
Administrative Assistant
Gisel joined CI Student Health Services in 2019 when she first started working in the Ventura County Medical System. You can find Gisel at the front desk, greeting students when they arrive. She is devoted to making students feel safe and comfortable, while also answering any questions or concerns about their health.
