Call for Proposals (Spring 2021)

The Faculty-Student Research Grant program provides $2,100 to support a student who is engaged in faculty-driven research with a faculty mentor. The award provides $14 per hour, ten hours per week, over the course of the semester.

Purpose: The Faculty-Student Research Grant is intended to 1) provide faculty the benefit of student engagement in faculty-directed research and, 2) provide students the benefit of working closely with a faculty-mentor.

Faculty Eligibility: Tenure-track and lecturer faculty are eligible to apply for a grant.

Student Eligibility: Any current CI student is eligible to receive a grant. Students are identified by faculty and should be selected by faculty. Students who have graduated are not eligible. Students enrolled in UNIV 498 (or other classes related to the proposed research activity) are NOT eligible for this program. Students cannot receive academic credit for their participation in this program.

Proposal Elements: Please prepare a proposal (no more than 4 pages double-spaced, exclusive of bibliography) that addresses the following:

Questions about IRB may be addressed to Scott Perez in the Research and Sponsored Programs Office.
