Chancellor’s Office Online Course Services (OCS) Professional Development Courses

OCS Professional Development provides free courses taught by Certified CSU Facilitators, 3-weeks in length, online, asynchronous, and require 15-20 hours. While you are able to move ahead in the course, you must follow the due dates as peer-to-peer collaboration is integral to each course.

Which Courses Should I Take?

The CSU’s Online Course Services has adopted two quality assurance rubrics, Quality Matters (QM) and Quality Learning and Teaching (QLT) Rubric, to define criteria to guide development and facilitation of online courses. CSUCI only uses QLT. You should only enroll in courses specific to QLT not QM.

OCS QLT Courses Include:

  • QLT: Introduction to Teaching with QLT
  • QLT: Advanced QLT Course in Teaching Online
  • QLT: Reviewing Courses Using the QLT

To Register
