If you need to move items from one location on campus to another, we are happy to assist you.

Please be aware that we have designated schedules for all campus office-to-office and property moves. We kindly request that you provide a 15-business-day notice for any move requests.

  • The University Events Labor Team oversees supporting campus events set-up and office-to-office moves. Campus event support is given priority in scheduling and will continue to be managed by the existing processes and guidelines. A new process has been identified and outlined below to ensure efficient scheduling of office-to-office moves.

The role of a property clerk involves overseeing the management of inventory, including tracking incoming and outgoing items in the surplus warehouse. Established procedures are already in place to ensure streamlined operations.

    1. Request is submitted via a new Campus Move Request form.
      1. If you are moving property into or out of the surplus warehouse as part of your office-to-office move, you must also complete a property form and work order. Visit the property moves section on this page for ore information.
    2. The Labor Lead determines scheduling by considering scheduled campus events.
    3. The University Events staff will create a 25Live reservation for the move and send a confirmation email to the requestor.
    4. The move takes place at the scheduled time (provided the office content is prepped and ready for the move).
  • The University Events Labor Team provides the support necessary to move campus property. The approval of property moves and inventory management remains the responsibility of the Materials Management unit in Financial Services. The coordination of work between the two units to support efficient service delivery is approached as outlined below.

    1. The requestor follows the current process for requesting property transfer.
    2. The Property Clerk will schedule approved property moves during regularly scheduled hours and notify the University Events Labor Lead of the property move.
    3. The Property Clerk will indicate which items need to be moved, along with their original and final locations.
