Q. What is Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days?
A. Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days is an opportunity for admitted incoming freshmen & transfers to learn about next steps in the enrollment process, receive an overview of the academic experience related to their major of study, and hear from representatives from student support services. All sessions will be held virtually this year.

Q. Is this an open house where I can come and go at any time?
A. Yes, you can virtually attend any session you are interested in learning more about. We do, however, encourage you to at least attend the Saturday, April 17th, "What's Next Session". This session will provide important information on next steps and upcoming dates and deadlines.

Q. Do I have to be admitted to CSUCI in order to attend Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days?
A. Yes, you must have received an email offering you provisional admission as a new freshman or transfer in order to attend Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days.

Q. Is Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days the same as going to Orientation?
A. Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days is different from New Student Orientation (IVO). Orientation will be held in June/July after you have submitted the 3-Step Intent to Enroll.  Sessions during Orientation will help you prepare you to enroll in the fall.

Q. If I am unsure of whether or not to attend CSU Channel Islands, should I still attend?
A. Definitely. Our Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days is an excellent opportunity to determine whether or not CSU Channel Islands is a good fit for you as well as learn about next steps in the enrollment process.

Q. Can I join the zoom sessions with my parents or other relatives?
A. Yes, we encourage you to invite your parent(s) and or relatives to attend virtually with you.

Q. If I cannot attend this event, is there another time I can join virtually to learn more?
A.
Recorded sessions will be posted on our Virtual Admitted Dolphin Days webpage on May 3rd. Contact information will also be available for students if they have any questions. You are also welcomed to contact the Admissions office with any further questions you may have. Email us at Admissions@csuci.edu.

Q: Can I visit the campus in person?
A. Currently, we are encouraging students to register for a Virtual Family & Individual Tour held during the week or one of our Saturday Campus Preview Days. We are hoping to provide more opportunities for students in the near future.
