Sara Alcalá, M.S.
Sara has been working at CI since 2005 and has 10+ years of experience working in schools, from K-12 through university levels. She was previously the Graduate Studies Counselor & Coordinator and was recently hired as the GSC Activity Director. Sara manages Graduate Studies Center events, partnerships, activities and resources while also overseeing daily operations at the GSC. Jennifer is a graduate intern for the Fall 2015 semester. She is finishing her M.S. degree in Counseling and Guidance with a College Student Personnel specialization at California Lutheran University. Jennifer decide to intern with CI's Graduate Studies Center in order to support students in pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees and assist undergraduates in giving them information about graduate school. Her career goals are to continue to support students in their transitions in various education levels and support student-athletes in their academics and career goals. Jennifer enjoys being outside, spending time with her family, and playing football for the Black Widows.
Hannah brings with her nine years of student services experience from UCSB where she served as an undergraduate advisor, and a graduate program assistant. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from UC Irvine, and is currently working on her master’s degree in Educational Counseling at University of La Verne

Administrative Support Assistant
Jennifer has been with the Graduate Studies Center and Project Vista since 2011, working as a student assistant. She received her B.A. in Spanish in May 2015. Jennifer's future plans are to join the Teaching Credential program at CI. During her free time, Jennifer enjoys playing with her dogs, going to Six Flags Magic Mountain and binge watching shows on Netflix.Email: email@example.com
Rosa is a senior at CI, majoring in Psychology. Rosa picked CI because it is a small campus away from her usual big city life. Her hobbies include reading, blogging, and solving word puzzles.
Ciara is a senior currently majoring in Psychology. She chose CI because of the small class sizes and CI’s beautiful campus. Her interests include: reading, writing, dancing, and trips to Disneyland.
Amanda is a first year MA Education Disability Studies student. She chose CI because she loved what a small and close knit campus it is. Studying at CI also allows her to stay close to her family. On her spare time, Amanda enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Gaby is a second year student in the nursing program at CI and will be graduating in May 2017. She chose CI because it is a local campus to her home and she had heard great things about the nursing program. upon graduation, Gaby's goals include attending graduate school to become a family nurse practitioner and be able to provide health-care services at an affordable cost to low-income populations. Two of Gaby's hobbies are bike riding and taking walks on the beaches located along PCH.
