Aventura Math Camp was inspired by Math Corps to create a free summer camp to support underserved students in Ventura County. The original Math Corps has been fulfilling that mission in Detroit, MI since 1992. Math Corps personnel - especially those with Math Corps at U(M) - have been extremely generous in sharing their structure and lessons learned with our team at Aventura Math Camp.
