June 3-June 30, 2012

Applications are invited for a Study Spanish in Spain program for the month of June at the Instituto Andalucí in Malaga.  Course fee includes: 5 hours of classes Monday-Friday at the institute, bus transfer to and from the airport, half board and a shared room with a local family, airfare, orientation tour of Malaga, and an excursion to Granada.  Preference will be given to students who have taken the prerequisite courses of SOC/SPAN 429, Social Change in Spain, or SPAN 410 Civilizations and Cultures of Spain.

Optional excursions (paid for by the student) include: a weekend in Morocco, a day visit to the white towns of Nerja and Frigilaina, Sevilla, Cordoba, etc.

An information meeting, open to all interested students, will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Sage Hall 2030.

Students interested in studying in Malaga during the month of June, 2012, should keep the following dates in mind:

  • Deadline for application: February 20, 2012
  • All course fees paid by: March 1, 2012
  • Date of travel: Saturday, June 2, 2012
