About the Center for Integrative Studies
Senate Policy (SP04-07) "Center for Integrative and Interdisciplinary Studies" established the formation of the mission based center. Senate Policy (SP05-18) changed the center's name to the Center for Integrative Studies.
The Center for Integrative Studies (CIS) maintains a membership with the Association for Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS), an organized voice and information source for integrative and interdisciplinary approaches to the discovery, transmission and application of knowledge. With our membership we receive access to the annual AIS conference, their quarterly newsletter, "Integrative Pathways" and their annual peer-reviewed journal, "Issues in Interdisciplinary Studies"
The CIS Mission
The mission of the Center for Integrative Studies (CIS) is to serve as an organized source of information and support for integrative and interdisciplinary approaches to the creation, discovery, transmission and application of knowledge.
